Once again the sun was up at full power in a cloudless sky and up at 17 degrees by 0730 hrs though feeling pleasant in the light SE>2.
Waders were very lively until the temperature started to rise mid watch and then things went quiet. Just the usual waders with a return of 8 Dunlin plus Common Sandpipers, Redshank, Oystercatcher and Ringed Plover whilst the area is now down to the last couple of Curlew, the rest having moved on.
As usual, the clear blue sky was void of birds other than several Meadow Pipits carrying food whilst a single Kestrel was over the moor.
A bit cooler and some cloud promised for tomorrow, hopefully they will be right.
