Out in the gales, Fly Flatts, (permit only)

A poor year for Common Sandpiper with only 2 breeding pair

Hopefully the Ringed Plover pair are just keeping the chick well hidden

Plenty Lesser Black Backed over >SE

                                                         2 cy  LBB

A very windy morning with a SW>5 gusting 6 and light showers with 60% cloud and some sun at 11 degrees. By 0945 hrs it was full dark cloud.
Gulls were the bird of the morning with triple figure LBBs and around 20 Herring all >SE. These were early doors so possibly leaving the TMR gull roost if it is still ongoing from the winter.
Waders were once again at an all time low with just the breeders present but another day with no Dunlin. Plenty Swifts heading >N whilst a single Raven was over the Nab.
Looking like another windy one tomorrow with a moderate westerly.
