A morning of disturbance, Fly Flatts, (permit only)

                                           Alive with Swifts throughout.

Ringed Plover pair but no sign of chick ?

                                              Usual Common Sandpipers
                                       A sea of Canadas.
When I said I needed a diver I didnt expect a van full

                                               First Diver this year.

                                       A good morning for Dunlin

OGDEN                                    Very few gulls, LBBs and Black Headeds

                                     Looks like an eye problem
                                     Unless it,s due to moulting.

Another windy morning at Fly Flatts with a S>4 inc >5 at 11 degrees and full cloud.
Lots of YW activity going on this morning with engineers and divers working on the depth gauge so birding was limited.
Dunlins were the bird of the morning with around 12 present but mobile with the disturbance whilst the pair of Ringed Plover had moved positions with no sign of the chick as yet but possibly just lying low.
Otherwise just the usual species and once again swarms of Swifts low over the water throughout the watch.
A late afternoon check on the Ogden gulls was a quick job with just 12 LBB, 1 Herring and 6 Black Headed plus the usual Heron, drake Tufted, 1 Gt Crested Grebe and a Grey Wagtail.
