Treecreeper in the deep, dark wood.
1 of 3 Nuthatch.
Usual Bullfinch flock
Good count of Long Tailed Tits
A better morning than yesterday but still a strong W>5 gusting 6 with some torrential rain showers at 6 degrees and full cloud cover.
Weather is not too much of a problem at Ogden as there is always adequate shelter in the wood from both the wind and the rain though in conditions like this morning it is extremely dark making viewing hard work and photos almost impossible, working with the camera wide open so inviting plenty noise on the image,( grain effect).
The west bank was very lively with Bullfinch and LT Tits as well as Blue, Great and Coal tits feeding in the Alders whilst Tree Creeper and Nuthatch were in the edge of the wood.
A mixed flock of Siskin and Redpoll were overhead flying between the waterside trees and the plantation but very rarely landing, and even then, very briefly.
Nothing else of note with a small count of BH Gulls on the rough water along with the resident Mallards.
A shopping trip to Keighley this p.m. found several small Waxwing flocks by the Ingrow steam train station and in the town centre near the cenotaph.
Another wet and windy day tomorrow then back to strong gales on Sunday.
