A dark and dismal Ogden

                                    9 Siskin present

Tree full of Siskin and Bullfinch
                                    Early morn in poor light.

A very dark and damp Ogden early morn with low mist clouds to the west moving overhead mid morn.
Light drizzle on a SW>2 at 5 degrees with everything in silhouette, certainly not a morning for the camera.
A disappointing water with just a handful of small gulls plus the usual Mallards but ,once again, the Alders were busy with a nice flock of around 9 Siskin, 3 Redpoll, 5 Bullfinch and several Goldfinch along with the 4 common usual tit species.
Dipper, Kingfisher and Heron down in the sluice gate area and 8 Redwing >N.
Looking like heavy rain in the morning then batten the hatches in the afternoon for a gale force westerly. Only 2 weeks to the winter solstice( shortest day).
