Another dabble at Ogden.

Sun through the trees at Ogden.
                                Fog bank over Fly Flatts
                                    Alders alive once again. Bullfinch
                                    Sev Redpoll

Mix of Siskin, Redpoll, Bullfinch and Goldfinch.

The seemingly permanent bank of fog to the west was once again shrouding Fly Flatts but Ogden was bright and sunny with 50% cloud on a light WNW>3 at 4 degrees.
All the action this morning was once again in the west bank Alders with a good group of Redpoll, Siskin, Goldfinch and Bullfinch with a break away group of 22 Siskin which were very mobile flying around over the tree canopy.
A small flock of Goldcrest were working the waters edge trees, always worth a check for Firecrest, its 10 years since the last was found here by DF on 2/11/2013 which luckily stayed around long enough for several of us to see and photograph it.
Just a single Cormorant on the water along with 3 Herring, 12 Common and 23 Black Headed gull whilst 14 Redwing flew overhead >NE.
A very light east turning south east with rain tomorrow so another foggy do by the look of things.
