Back to abandonment conditions.

Can,t imagine ever seeing Fly Flatts like this again.

After one clear day yesterday, today was back to the usual dense fog and heavy rain throughout the day and black as night. We were lit up by 1400 hrs. Just the usual Foxhill dog walks with a few Common gulls, and a check of the trees in Sainsburys car park which are now void of berries.
An amazing December find for MC, in his very active flooded field near his home at Oxon, when he picked out and filmed a Dotterel in among the Golden Plover flock. See Micks report and video on the Oxon blog linked on the right of my blog.
More of the same weather-wise tomorrow then heavy rain and gale force winds over the weekend.
Roll on February when things start to happen at Fly Flatts.
