A murky morn at Ogden.

Ogden early morn was just below the fog which was dense on the tops. Mist clouds kept moving through bringing heavy drizzle on a light SW>2 at 3 degrees. Very dark clouds with poor visibility.
A few Redpoll and Siskin were around the Alders but very mobile and difficult to pick out in the dark conditions. Nothing on the water other than a small count of gulls with 2 LBBs, 1 Herring and about 30 small gulls, mostly Commons.
A noisy Raven flew over the water >E and a Sparrowhawk skimmed over the info centre. Other than that, very quiet.
A brighter afternoon and the 2 Waxwings from yesterday were still present in the same tree as we drove past, mid afternoon.
More cloud tomorrow on a light sou'westerly then looking like a week of strong winds and gales but only a week away from the shortest day now. Get Christmas and New Year out of the way and we,ve turned the corner, or as they say in Queensbury " thas off reet roard".
