Breeding success for Ravens with 2 ad and 4 juv.
Hard work again this morning in a strong SW>6 at 10 degrees and full cloud with light rain showers.
A good show of waders again this morning though scoping the far north shore was near impossible in the blustery conditions. Dunlins and Common Sandpipers were very active in the wind with at least 9 Dunlin and 5 Common Sandpiper as well as 4 Redshank and 1 Oystercatcher.
A female Ringed Plover was new in and being displayed to by the male from the long staying pair whilst a Snipe was calling from the reed bed.
Breeding success again for Raven with a family party of 2 adults and 4 juvs noisily flying over the moor and 3 Swifts flew high over the water >SW battling against the wind. Just 1 pair of Wheatear left in the area now.
