Fly Flatts a.m./a dip at Bank Top C.P. p.m.

Grey Wagtail, not common at Fly Flatts

At least 7 Wheatears in the area.

The 2 Greylag families doing well, 6 and 5 goslings.
                                           4 Ringed Plovers present
                                                  Single juv Stonechat
Taken against sun angle hence wishy washy

                                                Only 3 Dunlin this morning.

                                           Female Ringed Plover

A bright and sunny morning with some broken cloud on a SW>4 at 10 degrees but chilly in the wind.
A much quieter morning with very little activity  and a low count of Dunlin plus the usual waders present. LBB and Herring gulls were moving >SW very high along with several Swallows and Swifts.
A juvenile Stonechat was in the compound whilst a Buzzard was over Tatty Pie Hill.
A look at Bank Top country park late afternoon was disappointing with just a few Herring and LBB gulls on the water briefly and no sight or sound of NKs  Sedge Warbler from yesterday, thanks for the directions Nigel. The usual wildfowl was on the water but an exceptionally poor show for this site.
