A second wave of Dunlin today.
Thought I had a Phalarope here
Usual Common Sandpipers present
female Ringed Plover
Herring gulls out on the peninsular
A cloudy afternoon at 10 degrees with a moderate SW>5 gusting 6.
Hard work scoping today in the wind but nothing unusual found until 7 Dunlin dropped in from the SE and settled along the shoreline. Conditions looked good , in the wind, for Terns but the nearest I got was 4 Herring gulls on egg and chick patrol.
The usual Redshanks, and around 8 Common Sandpiper along with a Reed Bunting and 2 Red Legged Partridge plus the usual species present.
Looking like a strong westerly and rain tomorrow which may drop something interesting in and maybe even a Tern or two.
