Lesser Black Backed gulls moving >SE
Single Lapwing >NE
Pink Footed geese approaching from the west.
Skein of 49 heading >SE
1st skein over Fly Flatts this season.
A clear cool morning at 9 degrees with broken cloud and sunshine on a E>3. By late afternoon there was full cloudless skies at 16 degrees.
A nice start to the morning with my first skein of Pinkies over from the west heading off >SE and very noisy. Mipits were constant but in small numbers, the largest group being 9 but continuing over all morning. No Hirundines today at my side of the ridge though the Oxenhope lads were getting them to the east of their watch point.
A complete clear out of Wheatears after a good scope of all the shore with none found but no doubt there will be more through yet.
Otherwise it was just dribs and drabs with the afternoon just producing a Peregrine harassing a new in Greylag goose on the water.
