A day of fog!!!!

Dense fog from start to finish today so apart from a few very wet dog walks it was a perfect time to crack on with the decorating. What strange people there are about in our midst. This afternoon we went shopping at Sainsburys and already the shelves are becoming bare with toilet rolls and tissues almost gone and beans down to the last few tins. The checkout lady says it started last week with customers panic buying trolley loads of toilet rolls, weird or what??

With no report today I,ve put together some previous Fly Flatts October specials with a view of what to hope for in the coming month.

                                        Golden Plover on the shore
                                            Whooper Swans arriving

                                         Plenty Pink Footed Geese over

One of Judy Hoggs local Mute Swans turned up.

Ring Ouzel below the west bank

                      Great White Egret over 2017

Caspian gull over, also Oct 2017, a good month

3 Twite by the entrance track Oct 2019
