Perfect Conditions ......for decorating, certainly not birding.

After a one day rest-bite from the fog it was back to normal with dense fog, drizzle and rain throughout the day up here in the gods. Though annoying, I suppose it has to be expected this time of year with, looking back, I had 10 days abandoned last December due to fog, snow or heavy rain.
Having said that I still had some decent birds during the better days of December with skeins of Pink Footed Geese on the move whilst birds present were Iceland gull, Med gull, sev Goldeneye, Smew,
Common Scoter, Ring Necked Parakeet plus a Snow Bunting up by the wind turbines found by a member of the sailing club but dipped by me.
Another grim day full of rain forecast for tomorrow then half decent Tues/Wed before the snow arrives.
