A poor morning on the tops with thick freezing fog and a covering of snow. A mid afternoon visit to Ogden in slightly better conditions with a mix of swirling mist and fog and a light snow fall throughout.
Just a quick check of the east bank was enough with several off lead nasty looking dogs running around so thought it best to get mine out of the way. This place is getting worse than Mixenden reservoir with no rules and no organization, just a free for all.
Just a few small gulls present along with the usual Mallard, the highlight being NKs
2 drake Tufted and the 5 Teal still present, the Teal being very flighty.
The fog has just cleared up here tonight so hopefully it may be a fog and snow free morning.
