Fogged off a.m.? Ogden p.m.

Only a single Chaffinch found today.
This LBB was dark enough for an intermedius

                                                2 LBBs , graellsi.

Another morning of dense fog on the tops lingering all day although Ogden p.m. was very spring like with a calm NE>2 at 4 degrees and hazy sunshine.
One of those visits where I wished I,d carried on with my decorating with just a single Chaffinch found and only 2 Siskin fly overs as well as a poor Tit flock and just 2 Goldcrest, despite doing the west and east bank.
The long staying pair of Teal were distant at the north end in with the Mallard whilst around 100 small gulls were on the water, 90% being Black Headed, along with 4 Herring and 3 LBB gulls, one of which was very dark showing features of intermedius.
Around 4 Bullfinch were in the car park bushes and a Sparrowhawk glided overhead.
The fog has cleared from the tops tonight so hopefully tomorrows forecast for rain on a >NE wind will keep it at bay.
