Leeshaw Reservoir.

A good count of 42 Herring gull

                                  Gantry full of small gulls

                                   Around 200 Black Headed.

A very dark morning at Leeshaw with a few showers on a light NE>2 at 3 degrees with 80% cloud.
A poor show of wildfowl with just a few Mallard present along with 6 Canada and 4 Greylag.
A dipper was down in the beck whilst a few Redwing were moving along the hedges of the big field.
Gulls were the main feature with around 200 Black Headed but difficult to check for Med gull with the birds being very mobile continuously moving round field to field but nothing showing on the ones I managed to scope through.
A good count of Herring gull with 42 present at one point but only 5 LBBs. Some big flocks of Starling  and a distant single Buzzard, otherwise down to the usual species.
Good to bump into CK up there doing the rounds and left him heading for the moor top in hopes of Snow Bunting.
