Just one of those days, Fly Flatts (permit only).

                                            5 Stonechat still present
This will be a cracking looking male once its plumage is sorted.

Another foggy start but soon cleared to leave a bright clear sky and sunshine on a W>3 at 15 degrees.
A very much lifeless day, especially the afternoon session, with near empty skies and water. The 5 boatyard Stonechats were still present with plenty Mipits along the fencing along with just 3 distant Wheatears down below the west bank.
Just a scattering of LBB gulls all >NW whilst 4 Kestrels were in the air together over the Nab. No moving Swallows or Swifts today with just a feeding party of around 40 Swallows which spent time over the water and lagoon before moving off >N.
A pleasant surprise as I was unlocking the top gate with 2 Skylark in the top field, a rare sighting at this location. oh well, see what tomorrow brings.
