Wet and misty, Fly Flatts.

                                    Dipper on the shore.

                                    Several Meadow Pipits.

A very misty morning at Fly Flatts with heavy drizzle throughout on a light N>3 at 11 degrees. Visibility over the water but low cloud base. Water gushing into the reservoir after heavy overnight rain.
Once again, as the mist started to lift slightly the birds started to move with Swallows, Meadow Pipits, Linnets and Pied Wagtails over low, keeping below the murk.
Several Mipits were on the shoreline along with the usual Dipper plus 2 Wheatear whilst 2 Reed Bunting were in the compound bushes.
Still awaiting a wader and no sound of overhead pinks this morning.
Tomorrow mornings weather looks interesting with a strong westerly, gusting at gale force, with rain, which should get the gulls going, but at least will clear the fog.
