Plenty gulls to look through this morning.

                                    Herrings

                                Around 200 Black Headed
                                    Herring
                                Several Robins present.
                                    A field full of geese.

As expected, a full day of thick fog up on the tops today and even Leeshaw was partially foggy first thing but cleared by 0815 hrs to leave full cloud on a light E>3 at a bitter 2 degrees.
Around 200 Canadas and 6 Greylag in the big field where I tried for something special, but not to be.
Plenty gulls present with around 150 Black Headed, c50 Common, 4 LBB and 6 Herring but, once, nothing special.
Several Robins, Wrens and Blackbirds moving around the area, which is unusual for this site, the Blackbirds and Robins possibly being migrants. No wildfowl present other than a pair of Mallard on the water as well as 2 Cormorants.
Some blasting gale force winds for tomorrow, mid morning on, which make shake the job up a bit.
