Good count of Pied Wagtail
Only 1 BH Gull over.
A slightly more pleasant morning weather wise at Fly Flatts at 17 degrees but a refreshing E>2 with 50% cloud and clouding more as the morning went on.
A clear out of migrants overnight with all the Chats and Wheatears gone leaving just 2 Willow Warblers. Wagtails were the bird of the morning with 6 Pied present and at least 15 >SW along with 2 Grey Wags >S.
Swallows and House Martins were overhead >S along with a good number of Mipits but these were uncountable heading over on two levels, the high birds very hard to see in the bright sky.
A single Wigeon left the water as I arrived being flushed from the SE corner as I drove past whilst a Teal was way over in the NW corner.
Redcar Tarn at the moment has Shoveler, Wigeon, Teal and juv Gt Crested Grebe plus usual sp. Courtesy Dev and Helen.
