Fogged off a.m./ Miffed off p.m.

Fly Flatts a.m. was dense fog not clearing until 0945 hrs just before packing up time. A light SW>3 at 12 degrees.
The only birds found were a few grounded Mipits plus 6 LBBs on the water as the fog cleared.
Luckily I had volunteered to help move a pile of stone for the sailing club so I passed the morning on behind a wheelbarrow.
Another mid p.m. visit to Ogden was poor with just 2 Little Grebe, 4 Cormorant, 28 BH gull, 4 LBB gull, 6 Blackbirds and a female Blackcap.
No sign or reports of Pinks over today so hopefully a move will be on for tomorrow with a light southerly blowing and full cloud, as long as the fog keeps away.
