A day baht birding.

  •  A full day of fog and heavy rain throughout up here in the gods with both morning and afternoon sessions cancelled. The fog finally cleared at 1700 hrs but the rain is still coming down. Just three very wet dog walks around Foxhill amongst the Common gulls, or what you could see of them, whilst a shopping trip found a few Redwings in Sainsburys car park Rowan trees in annoyance to the resident Blackbirds.
  • Hopefully the moderate wind tomorrow will keep the fog at bay whilst more rain is forecast though I dont expect there to be any shoreline left at Fly Flatts by the end of the weekend.
  •                                   By the time this weather settles we should be due for a big push of Pink Footed Geese overhead.
