The Weekend starts here, Soil Hill Ring Ouzels

            3 Ring Ouzels together

                                    Matching pair

Big Bill over the NK pond,  Heron
                                           Very elusive male

  All distant but record shots.

After a hard week at work I got 1 hour out for good behavior tonight so a rushed down tea and up to Soil Hill for DWs Ring Ouzels that have been around a few days up there but rather elusive.
Within 5 minutes of arrival I was onto the 2m and 1 f Ouzels in the same area that I got last years bird although they were very mobile moving from top to bottom of the hill as well as going into bushes in the Grasshopper Warbler area.
A few record shots and thats me a happy man and ready for the weekend , after work in the morning that is.
Good to bump into DB on the way out so pointed him in the right direction and off he sped, camera at the ready.
Thanks to DW for finding the birds and thanks to the birds for waiting for me to get an hour free.
