Fly Flatts views from Sunday

A grey Fly Flatts, 0630hrs before the weather closed in
Gale force wind blowing but can,t photograph that
0715 hrs, Stoodley Pike shrouded in rain as
as it heads in across the moor
                                 Looking NE to the Nab

A quiet day around the area today , had to keep checking my phone to see if it was still working with no reports coming in.
An e mail from HC this evening told of Meadow Pipits piling into the Fly Flatts area with plenty on the moors now. Also a few Swallows motoring through and a single Wheatear on site, thanks for that Howard.
Another e mail from Gillian at Shelf Moor getting her first Swallow over that area today, watch out for Swifts next Gillian.
A check this evening of Old Guy Rd and Shelf Moor trailer park failed to produce Wheatear.
You can,t rush nature so we,ll just have to wait until they,re ready.
