1 m Common Scoter with Gt Crested Grebe
Distant shots as way out in the middle
Full zoom in 50x bridge
A nice surprise on an after work flying visit to Ogden this evening with a Common Scoter dead centre in the middle of the water along with a Gt Crested Grebe. I spied them when I was going to check passerine alley for Willow Warblers so it was a quick dash round the water to get the sun behind me for some distant record shots.
Ran out of time after that so no chance to check for spring migrants.
A text from DP as I got home reported 4 Wheatear, 1 Ring Ouzel and 3 Swallows on Soil Hill.
