                                    Ready for take off

                                              Airborne

                                    Back in to land
                                       Busy water

Queensbury has been fog bound all day with heavy rain and drizzle giving me a good soaking and nil visibility at Ogden this morning, another good soaking and limited visibility at Mixenden late afternoon and a real drenching re-felting a hut roof at Shelf Moor this evening, dont ask, and then at 1900hrs the fog went, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Wheres the sense in that, and to make it worse I,m back at work in the morning.

Mixenden reservoir late afternoon was grey and misty with heavy drizzle but the water was lively which made it all worthwhile.
Two male Tufted and a single female were present along with a single male Goldeneye and 3 females all very flighty doing circuits over the water then landing again. Five Mallard were also present and 2 noisy Herring gulls flew in almost landing then off again >SW.
