Chiffchaffs back in force
Up to 9 counted
Unusual to see a Tufted out of the water
Must have thought , If its good enough for the
Barnacle goose its good enough for me.
A quick visit to Ogden at 1800 hrs proved worthwhile with 6 House Martins and a Swallow over the water drifting >N along with several LBB gulls very high and >N.
The water held 6 Canadas, 1 Barnacle and a male Tufted which was unusual to see one out of the water and reasonably approachable.
Passerine alley held up to 9 Chiffchaffs all giving my camera the run around, but no Willow Warblers back yet.
Not a good forecast for the weekend but see what happens.
