Very few LBB gulls

Small gulls on the gantry
1 of 4 Reed Bunting
Fly Flatts still shrouded in fog this morning so on to Leeshaw which was below the cloud base but fog on the moor to my west with full cloud above and bright sky to my east. A light SW>3 at 8 degrees.
Early morn looked like it was going to be a big Redwing day with flocks swarming over Foxhill before I set of and several in the sky whilst on the journey there.
On arrival I had an early boost of Redwing but soon petering out though flocks could still be scoping to the far NE of me in the brighter skies. Other movement continues until around 0930 hrs , after which, skies remained quiet.
No repeat of yesterdays stonking morning with nothing unusual on the water and a much lower count of gulls.
A cloudy morning tomorrow on a light westerly and a bright afternoon which is the calm before the storm on Sunday with heavy rain and gale force southerlies.
