Leeshaw Reservoir

                                Gulls on the north shore

                                    Field full of geese

                                    2 CY Herring gull

                                    Jackdaws

A bright clear morning at Leeshaw reservoir with 20% cloud and sunshine on a light S>2 at 7 degrees.
As always at Leeshaw, plenty to see though nothing out of the ordinary. A good count of gulls  but only 3 Herring whilst a good scope through the rest of the bunch failed to get anything standing out.
Plenty grounded Mipits plus a few overhead but once again a very poor vis mig morning other than a single group of 14 Alba Wagtails over >E with Jackdaws being the main mover.
The big goose field was heaving with Canada and Greylag along with more gulls whilst a Little Owl was in its usual position.
Just a few Lapwing on the shore along with a very white fronted juv Cormorant,  which is a newcomer to the site. One noisy Raven over the moor and then just down to the usual species.
A light SE for morning with a bank of rain moving over throughout the day. Visibility showing good !
