Fly Flatts

                                    Usual Ringed Plovers
                                    and Common Sandpipers

A foggy start but took a gamble which came off as the fog burnt off by 0830 hrs leaving clear blue skies and sunshine at 8 degrees on a cool NE>3.
Plenty wader activity but only the usual Ringed Plovers, Common Sandpipers, Redshanks and Oystercatchers with very little else going on. No Wheatears today but 5 Reed Bunting and Meadow Pipits everywhere carrying food.
Nothing in the sky other than 8 LBB gulls and a single Herring gull all >NE, plus the Curlews and Lapwings.
The water is now back up to the overflow but with a few dry days ahead it should soon get back to showing shore with very little exposed at the moment.
The light NE wind is still hanging on over the next few days but dry and a good chance of better visibility.
