Snowed off.

                                A snowy Foxhill
Looking east from Foxhill. Listers Mill (centre)
                                        Top of Ilkley Moor
Menwith Hill golf balls RH horizon.
Baildon Moor. The Humber Bridge can be seen on a clear day.
                                    Foxhill, top pitch.

After more overnight snow the roads were pretty grim early morn so I set off for Ogden. Soil Hill  road was a no go so headed for the longer way round past Keelham but just past the Raggalds all traffic was at a standstill with cars stuck up the hill from the lights and others not daring to go down the hill so a quick turn round and back to base.
Four dog walks over Foxhill with camera at the ready failed to produce any fly-overs, even though the skies were perfectly bright and clear all day, though the temperature never got above freezing, even in the sun, so the snow remains.
Two separate text messages received reporting Waxwings around Ogden Golf Course over the weekend and yesterday were passed on to NK who was checking it out this afternoon so may, or may not, be on his blog tonight. Thanks to Nick Small and Steve Taylor for their texts.
Another bright sunny day tomorrow but sub zero temperatures all day on a mod NW wind.
