Another wet morning, Leeshaw.

Once again, another morning of constant heavy drizzle and mist patches with fog on the tops. A light SW>3 and dark cloud at 4 degrees.
A strange morning at the reservoir with not a single gull to be found either by the water or in the usual fields. A few geese had arrived with 27 Canada and 16 Greylag but the cloud too low for any moving Pinks.
A pair of Goosander were on the water along with 18 Mallard whilst a single Stock Dove and Raven flew over. A male Stonechat was on a distant wall as well as a Mistle Thrush but otherwise a very poor watch.
Even on the way home all the usual gull fields were void of gulls as well as Leeming reservoir whilst Raggalds Flood just held 4 Black Headed.
On the plus side 2 Barn Owl were seen on route. No photos again today with everything too dark and too distance to produce anything bloggable.
Tomorrows weather could go either way with a very light NW and cloud forecast, so again, a good chance of fog.
