Oh no ! more fog. Ogden.

                                   Distant female Gt Spotted Woodpecker
                                Several Gt Tits
                                Numerous Goldcrests

                                    as well as Treecreepers

With the expected fog this morning it was back to Ogden which started misty and heavy drizzle on a light NE>2 at 3 degrees with full dark cloud cover.
The water was once again disappointing with just the usual small gulls and Mallards which usually by this time has produced Wigeon, Shoveler and Teal though the once common winter Goldeneye seem to have vacated this area over the last couple of years with just an odd sighting.
The waterside trees made up for it with plenty activity and seemed alive with mainly Treecreepers and Goldcrest whilst just 6 Redpoll were seen briefly but very mobile and no sign of Bullfinch.
A flock of around 30 Goldfinch were moving through the trees as well as the Tit flock with a distant Great Spotted Woodpecker high in a tree top. The sound of Green Woodpecker was once common at Ogden but not any more, my last one heard was February 2022.
Another day with the same forecast tomorrow but I suppose its better than being snowed in.
