Pinkie morning, Fly Flatts

Distant Pink Footed Geese on the move.

Another bright, brilliant morning to be up on the tops with a cold temp of 0 degree causing frozen puddles and slippy roads. A light NW>2 with full sun and cloudless blue skies.
Pinkies were the bird of the morning with 4 skeins over but very distant and all scope work with 1 skein well to the south of me heading west and 3 skeins well to the north of me heading east but none of the usual 300 + skeins over as yet.
Still no sign of Whoopers with none on the water or fly-overs, and none on Mixenden. The last scrats of Meadow Pipits were south-bound as well as a few Redwings whilst Woodpigeons headed >SW but this move dried up by 0845hrs.
A few more gulls showing with 9 LBB on the water and 3 Herring gull along with 4 Black Headed. No sign of small migrants today.

Pinkies:-
1 Skein........112>E
3 Skein........95>W,   48>W,   79>W

Cloudy for tomorrow with a dead calm easterly which sounds perfect for FOG.
