Not the best of days, match abandoned.

Whitby Harbour, rain on the web cam lens.
                                  Ferocious sea, Cobble Landing, Filey.
RNLI cam.               Hope the lads don,t have to launch today.

A real grizzly day with a full house of rain, fog and a strong E>6 gusting 7 throughout the day.
Needless to say, birding had to be put on hold today with just 4 very wet dog walks.
Fascinating to watch the ferocious seas on the east coast via RNLI live web cams with an exceptionally high tide at Filey with the sea going half way up the cobble landing. Luckily the lifeboat has,nt had to launch so far which would have proved very difficult in the heavy surf.
A very light confused wind for tomorrow from all over the shop but always some north in it. Light rain probably means yet more fog.
