Fly Flatts.

A bright, clear morning with full blue sky and sunshine on a very cold  moderate W>5 at 2 degrees.
A pleasant, cold morning to be out but not so for the birds with most of the migrants taken advantage of the clear sky and moved on overnight. Just a few Reed Buntings, Stonechats and Meadow Pipits left but keeping their heads down in the bushes.
Several LBB gulls were heading >NW with 4 on the water, but otherwise, apart from 2 Raven and the usual Crows, the sky was amazingly empty. I thought I was sure of Pinks and/or Whoopers over this morning but nothing materialised so a very quiet watch. Possibly the cold strong wind kept things down.
A lighter NW for tomorrow but still full sun at 1 degree early morn.
