Three odd sightings for Fly Flatts a.m. (permit only)

A new visitor at Fly Flatts, hybrid Greylag x Canada goose on the water.
Not seen this around the area before. Voice was like a barking dog.
7 Teal present way across by the NE banking.

Buzzard at distance across on the moor

Another morning of not good birding weather although a bit fresher with a NE>3 at 6 degrees with full sun.
Three odd sightings this morning, firstly with the hybrid Greylag x Canada goose not seen in this area before that I know of. Next was a single Jay high over the water >E, a species only seen here during autumn migration, and the third being a single Fieldfare near the feeding station, this species only seen in the top fields or fly overs.
A Buzzard was out on the Robin Rocks with 2 Meadow Pipits sat very close by whilst 3 Raven were over the quarry. A group of 7 Teal were on the water but sticking near to the far NE shore whilst 9 Redshank were spread along the north shore with mud now exposed and the water level dropping well.
Otherwise just the usual species but strangely no sign of the Ringed Plovers which I have seen daily since the 9th of February.
