I am based at Queensbury and bird a patch within a 10 mile range of home incorporating 16 stretches of water, several plantations, a belt of woodland, stretches of river and canal and good areas of moorland. Fly Flatts, Sunday morn.

Buzzard on the moor.

0700 hrs and already the temperature up to 19 degree with a light NW>4 dropping to NW>3 by 0900 hrs and temperature rising.
More or less the usual suspects less the Dunlin but an addition with a Buzzard on the moor before heading off towards Nab Water Lane.
5 Herring gull headed high and >SW whilst 8 Black Headed were on the water. 3 Ravens showed briefly over the Nab along with 2 Kestrel. Several Swifts moving through all heading >N without feeding.
