More fog/more Leeshaw

Still a good count of Oystercatchers

Gt C Grebe been there over a week now

                                The spotted Greylag

                                    several Curlew

                                    Single Cormorant
                                Swallows becoming a common sight.

Another morning of thick fog on the tops so another visit to Leeshaw which was an improvement on yesterday morning but still very hazy on a light NE>3 at 4 degrees with the sun peering through by mid morning, knocking off time.
As always at this site, it was very lively but only the usual summer breeding residents with nothing new other than a single Black Headed gull and several Swallows moving through >W.
I badly need to get back to Fly Flatts to catch up with anything new up there but as long as these easterlies keep on, being forecast for another week yet, there,s always that threat of early morning fog.
