NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Grounded !!!

With the car in dock today for the MOT the job ground to a halt missing both morning and afternoon sessions.
A walk across to the Roper Lane vis mig watch point was soon abandoned due to very still conditions and intense heat haze blanking out visibility to the west which is the direction this view point covers.
Old Guy Road cricket pitch produced 8 Common gulls and 5 Black Headed along with 3 Pied Wagtails and a single Wheatear .
Foxhill park early morning held 45 Common gull  before moving off >SW.
All negative reports on the Doe Park Osprey today with 3 texts saying the same. The hawk eyed Haworth birder Sharon even failed to make contact with it today which is unusual. Has it finally left the area? watch this space.
Another dreaded forecast for tomorrow with full sun at 26 degrees and a very light E>2 throughout so roll on Thursday with a fresher S>3 and showers.
