These days are sent to try us, Fly Flatts,(no public access).

                 Oddball, Black duck/Mallard, farmyard type.

Aggression at the feeders

A very calm morning with a SW>2 starting off sunny but then clouding 6/8 at 16 degrees.
I expected a poor day in the conditions but I was not prepared for how poor. Fly Flatts this morning was mega quiet with LBB gulls, Black Headed gulls, Mipits, Canadas and 3 female Mallard with an oddball female domestic type with characteristics of a Black duck looking at the face pattern and in flight showed the Mallard blue wing bar less the white stripes.
Another day without waders and no Wheatear showing today. The skies were empty and the two trees failed to hold any passerines, all in all, a reet poor do.
Oh well, theres allus tomorn.
August last year produced Green Sand, Common Sand, Sanderling, Greenshank, Turnstone , Ringed Plover and Dunlin so I,m still hanging on in there. I just need rid of this summer weather.

Present
3 Mallard + 1 hybrid type
34 LBB gull
4 BH gull
Sev Mipits
+ usual sp.
