Hercules giving off a stack of heat shimmer.
A muggy day with temperatures already at 20 degrees by 0800 hrs lifting to 25 by late afternoon.
Fortunately there was a stiff SW>4 blowing which made it more presentable with a couple of rain showers thrown in during the afternoon watch.
In contrast to yesterday things were much busier with adult Wheatears moving through in bright smart autumn plumage, and nice to get a little flock of Teal on the shore as well as a single Curlew.
Three Willow Warblers were in the lagoon tree and amazing to see a Weasel high in the tree running on branches trying to get to the birds. Too many leaves for photos but interesting to see.
Several LBB gulls today but no Yellow Legged present but despite the hot stuff a pleasing day.
