5 pr Tufted present
2 Common Sandpiper
After a quiet morning at Fly flatts and not expecting anything to move in the nasty hot stuff, plus the Sunday sun worshippers would be out, I plumped for Cold Edge Dams where power boats were on Haigh Cote so it just left me with Leadbeater Dam.
As usual in this weather everything was lazing around the edges with no sky movement taking place. Surprisingly I had the place to myself so that was a bonus.
A good count of Tufted duck with 5 pair present along with a few Mallard, 1 Moorhen , 2 Oystercatchers and 2 Common Sandpipers.
The mill dam field held 73 Canadas and 1 Barnacle along with 3 Curlew.
Only 2 grapevine calls today so it looks like everyone found it quiet unless everyone was sat in the garden.
