NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

A quiet do, Fly Flatts a.m.

Another 3 Oystercatchers in to land, 16 present.

                                        5 Wheatear present,
                                                 male

                                                  female
  A very vunerable Lapwing chick

Early doors at Fly Flatts in not my idea of good conditions with a very light S>2 , blue skies and wall to wall sunshine.
Typical of these conditions the shorelines were deserted with just a few Common Sandpipers and Redshank and no signs of either Dunlin or Ringed Plover.
Aroung 20 big gulls were on the north shore whilst 5 Wheatear and 2 Reed Bunting were present.
Otherwise just the usual species and plenty walkers, bikers and runners appearing as always when the sun shines. An early finish and a spot of gardening.
