Yet another Fly Flatts watch aborted. a.m.

Arrived at Fly Flatts early doors just as the rain was starting in a howling SW> 6. A quick dog walk and check on the seed before the weather deteriorated bringing heavy rain, sleet and snow piling horizontally across the water.
With the car positioned to give some shelter I tried sky watching for 30 minutes but with visibility depreciating and it being apparent that nothing was moving in the conditions I tackled up and headed back to base where the sky was blue and the sun shone, typical, it could only happen at Fly Flatts.
