South West is not best, Fly Flatts,a.m.

                                     Plenty Curlews present

                                          as well as Lapwings
                                              3 Oystercatchers still present.

Another morning of south westerlies kept the skies quiet over Fly Flatts with an icy cold SW>5 and light rain throughout with good visibility.
Just Canadas on the water and no moving birds so had to contend with the 3 standard upland birds, Curlew, Lapwing and Oystercatcher.
Curlews were up in force and very vocal whilst 3 Oystercatchers were moving around the shoreline and around 30 Lapwing were on the east bank.
The wind is suppose to turn SE mid afternoon so see how we go on with that if the rain holds off.
