Queensbury, a step backwards

No Waxwings on the home made apple tree today
The local Blackbird thinks all its birthdays have come at once.

A step backwards from spring today with the return of the cold E>4 and light snow showers with temperatures near freezing by late afternoon.
The skies remained quiet throughout the day with just a few local Black Headed gulls around the rugby pitch at midday along with a single Pied Wagtail in the park.
No Waxwing reports since the weekend so they have possibly left the area and moved on. Within another week or two they will be on their way back to their homeland.
