Still hanging on to that icy cold E>4 with grey skies and slight snow showers most of the day keeping birds to a minimum.
A quick tour round after tea but very little showing and still no sign of Wheatears in the trailer field.
A strange but interesting report from a customer at work today saying a friend had been talking to him saying that yesterday 3 birders were looking through scopes at a tall bird in the middle of a field described by them as very rare . He couldnt remember what they told him it was but it was just below Shelf ???
