LBBs passing through
Plenty Goosanders
Another deteriorating day with a glorious sunny morning whilst I was at work, a dry cloudy afternoon whilst we were in town shopping and an atrocious tea time whilst birding with heavy horizontal rain driven by a strong SW>6 and finally low cloud and mist leading to a second day of early abandoning .
I went on the hope of Ring Ouzel and Wheatear but came away with neither, the only passerines being Meadow Pipits with several spread along the banking. Goosanders and Goldeneye were present but sticking to the far shore.
